I really appreciate the way they portrayed Mae in Night in the Woods, since in most games female characters will always have something about them be super feminine when there’s no need to be.
I appreciate Mae doesn’t have breasts, eyelashes, wears “female” clothing or has a girl’s style haircut; which is something a lot of games/tv shows etc are guilty of.
At first glace, you don’t even know whether or not Mae is even female, with the exception of her name.
Thank you Night in the Woods, for breaking this female character mold.
